Welcome to Shining Stars Learning Center.
Our aim is to be your child's family during his or her time at Shining Star Learning Center. We will provide the opportunity for children of every age to learn how to learn, to discover new interests and abilities, and to grow as individuals. Our teachers encourage development academically and socially in an atmosphere where learning is to be enjoyed. Shining Stars Learning Center welcomes all children between the ages of 20 months and 5 years without discrimination of any kind.
We recognize that the most precious gift each child brings to the learning situation is that child's individuality. In a caring and positive atmosphere, we create a warm and happy place for toddlers and preschoolers to learn. As we bridge the gap from home to school, we guide children during their learning experiences, enhancing their feelings of self-worth and developing a positive self-concept.
Based on the theory that children learn by doing, classroom programs encourage active involvement in a meaningful-centered learning environment. We treat each child as an individual, working from the level each child has attained and moving forward one step at a time. We promote a love of learning by allowing children to experience success with each accomplishment.
